I , Anthony Q. Jackson a native Texan born in the City of Sugarland the home of Imperial Sugar Refinery, which was known for the best sugar cane in the Lone Star State of Texas. Being born fifth of seven siblings, three girls and four boys, I was brought up a Christian Faith Based home. I was taught to never forget regardless to whatever we do just remember that God is first in everything. Being raised in the small city of Richmond, Fort Bend County is known as the fastest growing County Seat in the United States. I attended Jane Long Elementary until the family was relocated to the North West side of town transferring to Deaf Smith Elementary and Advancing to Crockett Middle School. The time spent at Crocket Middle School was the time of transition to the Lamar Junior High School being exposed to a higher learning and opportunities to learn teamwork. I spent the required years at Lamar Junior High before advancing to the main campus of Lamar Consolidated High School, the home of the fighting Mustangs. The time spent, before graduating from Lamar High School was the steppingstone into my future of dreams, promises, and disappointments that was going to make a person succeed or not with a desire from within.
I am a Navy Veteran after serving from 1983 to 1994 to include the Gulf War Tour on three different occasions stationed at Navasta San Diego on two Naval Vessels and a tour of Military Police and Correctional Specialist Training. I attended various schools during my military tour but was unable to complete my Studies to accomplish the goals that were set before me. I accepted my call into the Ministry of teaching and preaching the Word of God in 1987 under the leadership of Dr. Floyd Brown, The Pastor of Good News Baptist Church of San Diego, California. Under the leadership of Dr. Brown, I was ordained as a minister in 1990 through the Southern District Moderator, Dr. R. C. Williams Sr, and the Mount Carmel Baptist Church of San Diego. I served as the assistant of Pastor Brown 1990 to 1994 until I completed the End of Active Obligated Service in the United State Navy returning to the State of Texas.
Upon returning to Richmond, Texas I Immediately dedicated my services to the Mount Carmel Church Family and Dr. Curtis R. Lucas where I served as Youth Pastor, Administrator of Bus Ministry, Sunday School Teacher, And Outreach Minister, from 1994- 2000. I was called as the New Pastor with my devoted wife, Susan Jackson who has labored along my side faithfully for 25 years at the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Booth, Texas. My new task as Pastor of Mount Zion came with the teaching and leadership of Dr. Theodore Baines as my Educational Pastor with the blessings of recommending Faith Evangelical College and Seminary. The enrollment of Faith Evangelical has given me the opportunity to receive a bachelor’s degree of Religion and Master of Theological Studies.
Being the proud Pastor for 25 years at the Mount Zion Church we have gained sixteen Associate Minsters, nine Deacons, a Board of Directors, and a Finance Committee. As the Pastor, I will continue to give God all the Honor and Glory and to leave a legacy for the Mt. Zion Church to be the “Drawing Center” for the generations to come, pouring into the lives of people for the building of God’s King
I, Susan Jackson was raised in a rural town of Beasley, where the Lord instilled in her the love for the outdoors and nature.
Susan has been married to her devoted husband, Anthony Quinn Jackson for 30 years. Lady Susan has labored alongside her husband for 25 years as he has faithfully pastored the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Booth, Texas.
In 2017, God gave Lady Susan a vision after watching Pastor John Gray’s sermon, “I am Number Eight.” This vision led to Mt. Zion Church hosting its first Women’s Conference themed, “Stay Connected” (John 15:4). The journey commenced, and in 2018 the “Mr. & Mrs. Marriage Conference” (Ecclesiastes 4:9), and in 2019 the “Kingdom Builder’s Conference” (Matthew 6:33).
Through obedience, Lady Susan listened to God and through this process, there was the birthing of the Women Who Worship Ministry (WWW Ministry). This ministry is where women gather to receive the foundation of God’s truth through biblical teaching. Women are unified as they diligently seek and build a stronger relationship with God through studying the principles of His Word. God utilizes Lady Susan’s passion for women, to equip, empower, teach, and strengthen the Body of Christ.
The Vision for the WWW Ministry is for women of all ages, creed, and ethnicity to come together to seek God’s Word, Serve God’s Kingdom, and Share God’s Truth so that they find and fulfill their purpose in life. As we follow the principles of God, He releases His blessings and will direct us to the purpose of God. Lady Susan has a heart and love for all women and her desire is for Women Who Worship Ministry to leave a legacy that will continue for generations to come. Her motto: “Women should “Stay Connected” and pour into the lives of people for the building of God’s Kingdom.”
